WTS has a detailed Policy on Appeals that is enclosed with all test orders. According to this policy, all item appeals are to be handled by your agency. To assist you, the subsections of the test are identified as to source, and a reference number is given in the upper-right hand corner of each question. This reference number identifies the page or section number from which the exam question was drawn. In the event of a challenge as to the accuracy of the test item, the source information should help you to document item accuracy. It is the position of WTS that all challenges by candidates as to item accuracy should be considered only on the basis of whether the test item accurately reflects the textbook from which the test item was drawn. Information from other sources (such as departmental operating procedures or contradictory sources) are not acceptable grounds for challenging item accuracy.
